We travel with a lot of "STUFF" and both basement compartments are full. I didn't want to worry about a permanent mount for a TV so I improvised.

In one of the compartments there was a box covering electrical wiring etc in the top left corner of the compartment right above a 120 volt outlet and coaxial cable connector. I took the box off, reinforced it to hold some weight and then put a tubular extension arm in it. The arm slides in and out. On the end of the arm I put the solid TV mount. The TV mount comes in 2 pieces, the 2nd piece mounts on the TV and you just slide/drop it into the mount. At the end of the extension arm I mounted on a swivel type assembly so I can turn the TV left/right for better viewing.

Originally I carried a 3rd TV that I could slip into the mount and hook up to watch TV. It took less then 5 minutes to hook it up. Over time we decided not to carry a 3rd TV but the TV in our bedroom uses the same mount, I can remove the TV from the bedroom and take it outside if we want. This works fine since we seldom watch TV outside and the dual function of the TV saves space and I don't have to worry about damaging a TV riding around in a compartment.

These are not your ordinary suction cups.

I also have a bike rack made from the same suction cups from a different company (Seasucker).

They have a pump on the suction cup you use to create the vacuum. It has an indicator on it that will show if it is losing suction. It does say to let it sit for a few minutes before putting the TV on it to be sure you have a good seal, but I've never had a problem.

The last time we used it, we put the TV away but forgot to remove the mount. It traveled home, sat there for two weeks, traveled to our next camp site, and THEN i noticed we'd forgotten to take it off. Still had good suction.

If I trust two $6,000.00 mountain bikes on the roof of my car with it, I can trust it with a TV worth a couple hundred dollars max.

Bought a container(less then $15) at Wally World. Cut a hole in the front to store things inside it.
Mounted a 26" LCD on top lid. Use a DirecTV H25 or Batwing OTA for programs.

Simple and cheap.

Interesting. My mh has an outside TV. I've opened the door to it once just to make sure it was still there and working.

No I don't have pictures. If the thread is still going after the snow melts & I get to the coach I'll try and take some.

I could not find a similar mount, it was a 2 piece system like I have.

The newer mounts usually have a similar setup to make it easier to mount the bracket and then the TV. Here is one on Ebay that looks like you can take the TV OFF/ON relatively easy. The swing arm may be long enough to permanently mount on the side of the bay and swing it out when you want to use.
