Outdoor TVs

1. Be very mindfull of neighbores.

They didnt come to the campgroung and pay the lot fee to have You entertain them with your choise of whatever.

2. After Dark the TV can become a Bug
& misquote Magnet.

3. Most watch a few times and remove the tv for the space or
Give it up after time.
From my observation.

Standard Wall Mount - VESA 200 x 100 or 200 x 200

I used this for a while, fairly convenient for sliding it off and on.

Later I decided to build in a TV with a removable cover.

Took a picture of the picture on my old computer with my phone so the pictures are not the best. Only took me a year to figure out how to have a large TV in an opening that is only 20” tall.
The TV slides out on the basement storage tray and then pivots upright. Slide it back under the door to shade it. You loose very little storage.

Pretty sweet design Ivylog! Some assembly required, but very slick.

I'm leaning towards something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Leisure-Upgra...s%2C168&sr=8-4

Cheaper than a tv, and takes up a lot less space. Plus, I can always find something to project an image on. Even if I have one of these in the basement, it won't take up that much room: https://www.amazon.com/Projector-Scr...s%2C181&sr=8-4

The fun thing about having a big image is it makes for fun movie nights.

I placed a Kebloc on the outside wall through the aluminum wall supports.

I store the TV in the basement and pull it out and hang it on the block.

Under the slide I installed a recessed AC plug with hdmi and OTA antenna connections for quick connection to DTV or local stations

I bought a used 28' Class C that came without TVs. I have a 42' that is not mounted, when we get where we're going I just stand it up in the overhead bunk over the cab.

On the rare occasion we want to watch TV outside I just put it on a picnic table or small table that we carry for other stuff.

I have a projector but unless you spend good money for a high lumens projector you're limited to after dusk. Even the high lumens projectors are going to be tough to watch during the day.

We were in a park last weekend and there was a Michigan came on Saturday afternoon. Several campers just put a TV on their picnic table under their awnings or portable canopy.

Before you go crazy engineering something try just watching outside on a table and see if it's something you will use.
