There is no twist any where on this. There is a one piece shower head and it threads into the shut off valve then the hose which threads into the end of the shut off valve and the wall connection. I even tried it with the hose from my OE shower head and still now better, The OE works much better--must be a Newmar thing.

After reading these posts guess I will unpack my Oxygenetic Shower Head and install it again. I replaced it with the original when I didn't get the flow I expected but it was too late to return it as I delayed the install. It seems that ALL of the water comes out in one stream rather than through the little holes in the head. I thought mine might be missing a piece and called the manufacturer but was told that it the way they are made.

Some models came with the twist valves and others, a push button one. You had to install the valves yourself. I opted not to.

I found the twist troublesome with soapy hands . I installed the push button.

We didn't have to "install" any valve. It came exactly as shown.

I have two: the one in use and a spare in case I broke the one in use. Neither had the valve installed.

Also, as I mention, I attached to my OE shower hose (which is exact diameter as the one with the new shower head) and no improvement without the push valve. The one I saw at the Tampa RV show had a great shower stream (a reason I decided to buy one) but I think it was "creative display" on their part (high water pressure supply, larger diameter hose, or both).

I am in a park with good water pressure supply, so I would hate to see how this new head would work in a poor supply park. It just isn't work the money if you ask me.

With mine is is almost a coin toss as to which is better, very close to the original.. I get the feeling I can shower just a bit longer with the Oxy head though so I use it.. I'm keeping the old ones around though.

A 10 gallon heater would work too.

Hmmm, well I suppose some of us are buying different models; ours doesn't have any push valve and just turns on and off with the faucet handles. Frankly, I've never been thrilled with the Oxygenic but it works OK. Just doesn't compare to what we have at home.

I like the Oxygenics more better! Mine came with the shut-off valve at the shower head, but I moved it (the valve) to above the faucet so I can turn off the water without fumbling about with the head. I also didn't like the stiff hose so I got a metal one that is a lot more flexible - much better! I will have to figure out how to keep the metal hose from hitting the wall, as it left marks from the hose rubbing on the wall as we traveled.

I found a brand new Oxygenics at a local Goodwill store for $3.99. I tried it in my 5th wheel and was very impressed. Actually makes the shower usable and enjoyable. I'm not sure I'd pay CW prices for one though....
