Paint Codes?
I have a 1999 Holiday Rambler Endeavour. I'm trying to repair some paint damage and I need to find the paint codes for this coach. Anyone have any ideas or info on this?

acstator, Contact National part @ 1-877-466-6226. Specify the year, model, serial number(vin) and exterior color scheme name (if known). Once the paint code has been obtained for the desired color, you can contact Industrial Finishes @ 1-800-531-1305 or most any local auto paint dealer or BASF paint store to fill your order. This info comes from my HR owner's manual. Bob
BTW, welcome to iRV2!

acstator......Paint has changed so drastically since your coach was painted, the codes won't do you any good. The codes on my 05 were useless. The paint was made by Sherwin Williams and they didn't even list the codes 5 years later. Everything is changing from laquer base to water base.
Your best bet is to either find a removable part, like a refer door, or take the coach to a paint supply store and let them use their matching machine to select a color.

Your paint codes are listed on the drivers side wall along with the tire inflation plaque and other information. It probably is Sherwin Williams. We had no problem getting a Sherwin Williams auto paint store to match the colors perfectly. We brought in the panel from the back of the refridgerator so they could do a better job of matching along with the paint codes. Most of the codes are also from a car; ours were from a 2000 Lexus and even touch up pens were available. DACOTAH

This is exactly right.
I had a 2 ft. long x 1/8" - 14/" scratch that the previous owner had made in the drivers side back rear panel. Probably was done turning, swung rear end out and hit something. He tried to patch it with nail polish. Didn't turn out good.
I tried everywhere to get some matching paint using our paint codes and no one, I mean no one—including Winniebago—would mix and ship to me. The only way I could get it done with paint was the above method from Dutch Star Don. But even then it was terribly expensive + you have to get clear coat too. It would of been around $300 worth of product alone not to mention the prep work I'd have to do.
So since our coach has decals anyway and all are in excellent shape, I just designed another black swish decal that looked like the others on the computer, took the file to a graphics shop and had them print it out and laser cut the shape on their top of the line, self adhesive, UV resistant material that they do car wraps with. Cost me $10, matches all my other graphics and the long scratch is gone. You can't even tell it's a fix.

Glad to have you here in the forum with us.
I also agree with Dutch Star Don. The colors have changed and in some cases have faded, you will need to have the colors matched at a paint store.
Happy Trails!!!
