Paint job estimate?

Has anyone had their RV repainted recently? How much does such a job cost? We have a 32' Fleetwood and the paint is starting to look chalky and dull. We are happy with the RV but would like to update the look a little (make it shine). Anyone have any experience with this? I've also read where some people have considered a bottom half of the RV wrapped. What does this look like? maybe I've seen it but don't realize what it really is? Thanks in advance!

How about $20,000? Depends on how nice you want it and how much you want to pay.
A few years ago, I was in Los Algodones Mexico and there was a guy that did just that for a fraction of the price. The RV looked great. He had guys take everything off the RV including the windows before the paint went on. These guys took the old paint off and when I saw them they were using a razor blade to do the final scraping. He is located just a few blocks from the town center. Very safe town.

I looked into this myself Made a couple of calls just to get an idea.

Extreme Graphics in Nacogdoches, Tx said their full body paint starts at $18k and goes up from there.

Called Bruce Deaton, Red Bay, AL ( Custom Paint ). Bruce told me he could do a 4 color graphic paint for about $10k assuming no body work required.

Until the sluggish economy turns around, I've put this project on hold.

May be a little too late to help you but, I had my 40ft painted in Oct.2013 by Mike's Custom Painting in Bremen, Indiana. 5 colors and lots of graphics painted on. They did a beautiful job. My 2002 now looks new. Very professional people and nice to do biz with. Paint was under $13,000

Paint can vary greatly depending on colors and design. Being in Elkhart Indiana I can tell you there are at least 5 companies that do complete body paints.... maybe more. As another poster mentioned Mike Custom Paint does nice work in Bremen. Carrera, CRS, Precision paint just to name a couple more. Since so much work comes out of this area, you can get a great price on a full paint scheme. I would say anywhere from 8000.00 to 20,000 depending on what you are looking for.

Have you tried buffing the finish out and applying a good coat of wax? As long as the paint is sound chalk is just a surface problem that a thorough cleaning should take care of. Sure worth a shot IMHO rather than spending 20K on a paint job on a MH that is maybe worth only that much.

Would you mind posting before and after pictures? and tell us how long your coach was left at Mike's, how many coats of clear, how far in advance you had to make a "reservation" to leave your coach and anything else that might help those of us who have thought about doing what you did... THANK YOU! Jeff
