It’s a baked aluminum paint on the older holidays. Doesn’t last long in the sun and some cleaners aren’t very good for it. Polishing is just gonna make the bare spots shiny. Needs to be sanded all sealers removed from windows etc and prepped, primed and painted then reseal everything

Bad paint
Dear Southern-RV --- Well, I had thought I was at the end of the paint's life. And, that HR put crap on the coach.
We have a paint & body shop in the area that only does rv's and large trucks. I think I'll give them a call and get an estimate.
Thanks for the detailed, logical reply.

My guess is $20,000+. Who has the over/under? Would a wrap be much cheaper?

Where are you located? I got a quote of $28K for my 40' coach with 4 colors.

[Mod Edit]
The full body paint was in decent shape, just a blah set of colors. I found a shop that changed colors on some of the stripes and clear coated, for a very reasonable price.
Doing a full job became a waste of money when it was learned that panels with some waves in them couldn't be made flat, so we opted to have the coach look good from the next lane over instead of from standing next to it.

Paint job
I received my quote from the body shop yesterday. Both sides will cost $8200. I need to get clarification on the quote because it doesn't seem to explain everything.
For those of you wondering where the shop is located. It's in Douglasville, GA which sets on IH-20 approximately 40 miles west of Atlanta.

Seems like a low quote. Maybe using a cheaper paint. Are they going to remove all sellers and prime first ?
