In the park where we stay in SW Florida there are many Canadians and Northern US folks that leave their RV's. Some will leave on the lot they stayed the winter on and pay $100 per month + the cost of electric. Because of the extreme humidity they will keep the air Conditioner on as well as a dehumidifier (snmall one draining in the shower drain. This stops the buildup of mold. Others have a offsite storage yard that will come to the park and tow (if a trailer) the RV to the storage yard in the spring and will bring it back and set it on the lot in the early winter. Some will fly in and have a car stored as well. Others drive down instead of flying.
You will need to shop around for insurance that accommodates that type of use.
Many parks will also have small permanently erected park models that you can purchase and pay a yearly fee for the lot. They sell from a very cheep price to as many $ as you are willing to pay.
