Park water valve

Last fall in winterizing my rig I was running antifreeze in my water supply and I pushed open the plastic spring loaded valve where you hook a hose to your rig and allowed the antifreeze to come out but the spring will not seat again. How do I fix this?

Replace the city water fill adapter. ORRR punch out the check valve, and add a check valve to the back side of the city water adapter.

Been there done that, temporary fix is to put a cap in the city water fitting, but the repair is to replace the hook up. If you have access to a compressor , consider blowing the RV water lines through the city water fitting before you pump the A/F through with the 12v pump, that way you won't have to push open the new valve; it will already be dry.
