parking brake light

My parking brake light stays on even though the brake is released it is on a freightliner chassis. Has anyone had this problem?

My guess is the brake pedal is on left kick panel, if you get in there to see you will find a little switch that when you push on brake a little plunger will come out and turn on light, sounds like when brake is released it's not pushing plunger in far enough to brake contact. Try pushing in plunger with a flat piece of something to see if it goes out, if not the switch has failed. Hope this helps

I repaced the pressure switch for the light . It was on the frame right in front of the rear wheel (Driver side) Fourteen dollar part and about thirty minutes
