lapalma-xl, I just can't imagine how it's going to hurt the chassis. What angle is the motorhome on? Are we talking San Francisco hillsides or perhaps something a mountain goat would have trouble with?

There's only one thing in your motor home that cares about being level. That's the fridge. If it's turned off, then park it how ever you like. If it's turned on, do everything you can to make it as level as you can.

If you intend to run your refrigerator during that time you want to keep the height differential between the front and back wheels no more that 10 inches. The only other consideration is that its not parked in such a way as to twist the frame.

Refrigerator operation typically no more than 3 degrees side to side, and 6 degrees front to back, as you are looking at the front of the refrigerator.

If it is really, really not level and you put your slide out, expect that they can bind, and bind they will. This can affect the wiper seal. It even pulled one of mine out of the channeling. It could also bind the rails that the slide sits on. Just something to consider.

Just parked with no slide, no refrigerator running, and no jacks down - no problem. (Chock the wheels)

level vs twisted

I believe it is safe to extend your slides as long as there is no "twist" to the frame ... my slides work fine when I am parked in slanted situations without any twist involved.
