Parts for Velvac Mirrors

I got a little close entering a camp ground yesterday... Shhh-stuff happens. Just wondering if anyone has any leads on getting Velvac parts to fix this.

Velvac sells parts but you may find them a little cheaper through a distributor.

I did about the same thing when we first got our rig, a toll booth jumped out at me.

I called Velvac and they were very helpful on ordering and shipping the parts. We needed them expedited and Velvac got them to me in 2 days.

Go on line and look for any info on a part, here is a link on how to take them apart.

These folks were very helpful and cheaper than Velvac's site, when I had the same issue with my passenger side unit. Velvac RV Mirrors - We specialize in Velvac RV Mirrors

I found Velvac VERY accommodating and for the piece I needed, the price seemed very fair. You can go to their site and view just about every part they make. Super helpful on the phone.

A couple of years ago one of my trees reached out and grabbed my passenger side Velvac mirror and it broke in about the same place as shown in the photo. I was able to get a replacement from this site: RV Doctor George - Home
The price was considerably less than I found elsewhere.

IF you mean the glass maybe but if you mean the frame and supports, no.

I will be calling Pacific RV today. Thanks

I was able to make a temporary fix to make it home. I removed all the wires that hook up the electric motor and heating elements and zip tied them behind the mirror. I took a bolt and placed it in the wire hole and secured the two pieces back together and was able to reassemble the mirror to make it home. If you find yourself in this situation, just remember the bolt is not forgiving as the cast iron plate and may rip the mirror off where it screws into your RV if you hit it again.
