piping diagram-1999 Pace Arrow 33

I am looking for a piping diagram for my 1999 Pace Arrow 33. I would like to be able to follow the water path from the city tap into the RV to my taps and from the water tank to my taps.
I thought I had by-past my hot water tank, I emptied the tank, set the by-past (I thought) , used the taps and later expecting no water in the tank, I opened the hot water tank and water soaked me!
How do I get vinegar into the hot water tank to clean it?

How many valves do you have to set to put your water heater on bypass? Normally you'll have a valve that can divert water from the input side of the WH to a line that connects to the output (hot) line from the WH. A variation of the diversion valve uses two single action valves, one to stop flow into the WH tank, a second that is opened to allow flow to bypass the WH tank. You should also have another valve to prevent the bypass line from filling the WH tank at the output side. If no valve, backflow is prevented by a one-way valve. They often fail because of mineral deposits.

Getting vinegar into the tank can be done by using the winterizing suction hose that is used to draw RV antifreeze into the plumbing. Another strategy is to use a rubber stopper with a tube that can be used to introduce the vinegar through the drain plug. Some folks unscrew the pressure relief valve and pour the vinegar into the tank that way.
