Please help 85 beaver MH windshield

Well hello all I have had no luck finding the windshield gasket for this RV I have try ed RV Glass Solutions in Eugene no help at all. all they do is send me some pictures of some gaskets and none match. I have looked all over the Internet with no luck. I'm at me ends rope. I have no way to put the windshields back in the frames. I don't get it. any suggestions please. My last resort would be to apply some type of windshield glue to the frame set the flat windshields back in on each side then add a clamp with a rubber bumper and drill the frame and attache them. I don't know I just want my RV back so I can use it. I have attached a few pics mayby the RV gods have some in site.

There is no generic gasket available? It comes in a roll to fit many different windshields.

You might want to check the Beaver Ambassador Club BAC Forum - BAC Forum I think you can read the forum without being a member.

But you can't ASK the question... Got to be an FMCA member, then a BAC member, etc.....

Give Coach Glass a call. You can find them on the internet.

RV Glass Solutions, Couch glass, and RV glass experts, are all the same company. I will try Duncan Systems. This is just ridicules I know its an older RV but come on. Beaver Forum is useless have to pay for a membership just to search it and most of what I see on there is late 90s or newer.

Thanks for all the help keep it coming.

Hello friend, I recently had to replace a broken driver side shield on my superchief. Fortunately it was my first, and seeing how i live in florida it was free. The company statefarm referred me to wasgaurdian glass. Just so happens they were also the manufacturer of the original. They were very helpful so maybe you can give them a shout. My contact was a nice lady named Liz. It's worth a shot anyway.

Well so far no luck with any one the vendors I have contacted. RV Glass Solutions, Couch glass, and RV glass experts no help what so ever it seems like they just don't want to deal with it. Still working with Duncan Systems but I'm not holding my breath. It looks as if I am going to have to use some kind of Sealant to glue the windshield back in the find some glazing that will fit. I know its an older RV but really this is just crud. I am going to take one of the frames down to the local Car, RV, and glass shop, I have here. Along with the glass and see if there is anything they can do for me. I just don't want it to pop out. I really love this beaver MH.

Have you tried any companies that advertise themselves as customer gasket fabricators, such as Steele Rubber Products ? It might be worth a phone call.

Yes I have contacted Steele Rubber Products too. They do not have anything, they can make something but the cost is just over 2k for designs and fabrication for the fist run and no guaranty its correct so the cost could go up from there.
