Please help!!! Jacks won't retract

We are camped at KOA and my jacks won't' return on my 2011 Damon Tuscany. I suspect the coach isn't level but not that bad. The control pad is flashing all yellow lights. Is there a way to reset the panel?

Thanks!

Kenny

Kenny, I am not familiar with your particular coach. I have tried to attach a HWH 610 system manual that has an Emergency Retract section. It's item #10 in the Troubleshooting Retract section. If you don't have HWH I can't offer any help.

Jack retracts after coach is level.
Check tank reservoir for the proper fluid levels.
Hose or jack may have an external leak.
Fluid is leaking back to reservoir through the control valve.
Jacks will not retract completely.
Jack may be clogged with ice or mud.
Main rod is bent or scored. Have replaced or repaired if necessary.
Valve plunger is not completely depressed by the valve handle.
Spring is weak or broken.
Hydraulic line is pinched.
Ignition switch is on, but no power to pump and/or control panel.
Parking brake is not set.
12 Volt from power source is not available. Check the in-line fuse under the dash by
the O.E.M. fuse panel.
Faulty wire or electrical connection. Have checked by a qualified service technician.
Pump will not activate.
Grounding switch on valve is not working.
Pump relay not functioning.
Pump not grounded.
Hydraulic pump activates without use of control valve pad.
Grounding switch at valve may have shorted.
Pump relay may be stuck.
Relay control wire shorted to ground.
Oil supply is low in reservoir.
Store levers not in the operate position.
Pump is not developing pressure.
Broken hydraulic line.
Yellow leveling lights are not functioning properly.
Yellow lights will not go out when vehicle is level. Adjust the sensing unit located
under the main body floor in a center storage compartment. See your manufacturers
manual.
Red warning lights are not functioning properly.
Lights will not come on: check for broken wire at warning switch on the jack.
Lights will not go out: faulty warning switch or wires are shorted to the ground

Are you slides IN? If not, retract them. Is you MH ignition ON? If it is turn it off and put key in accessory position. Now press MANUAL, not auto. then press RETRACT, wait and see if mh drops as Jacks Retract. Go through each step one at a time. If they do NOT retract open the compartment (In front under windshield) and remove cap from reservoir. Now do the manual button again, then press RETRACT again.
If they still do not retract look at valve body at reservoir. Make note of position of every valve. Now open or close each valve and see if jack retract as the pressure should now be relived. the jacks on the MH are ONE WAY Only. what I mean is they only are engaged when putting them down. when you RETRACT the vavle opens and because there is no motors running, no force is applied and jacks should retract. If that fails only one thing left to do. Paint house Numbers on the Tuscany. hope I helped you.

Kenny, what type of levelers do you have? Electric or hydraulic, Power Gear, HWH? Also, do you have roadside assistance like Coach-Net? Their telephone technical help line walked my hubby through getting our Power Gears to retract; their help was invaluable.

There are lots of good suggestions in this previous thread... Leveling jacks won't retract

EDALLSAILS, kenny is my neighbor here at the KOA. I appreciate your help as does he. This is his second trip and just needs some help like we all have had at one time or another. I suggested IRV2 knowing somebody will help him. Thankyou.

Had the same problem with my 2006 Damon Astoria with a Lippert hydraulic levelers. The wiring harness was loose at the pump in the front compartment. Required a mobile tech to come out and short the contacts on the solenoid which activated the pump and retracted the jacks. If you have a Lippert system call their customer service which is reportedly very good....

There sb a way to manually retract jacks by opening a valve for each jack. Mine was in front to left of generator. The springs will pull them up when you release the pressure.

I had the same thing on my 2011 Astoria, jacks won't retract. The motor seal failed and let fluid to short it out. From memory, closed all valves but one, used an electric drill and I think a 1/2 socket, removed an end plug from the motor, inserted the socket drill and did a manual retract on each leg. If you don't see movement after a little while, change directions of the drill and try again. Just remember the positions of each valves so you can put them back in the original position. Our is a Lippert System, no springs, all hydraulic, so not sure if the same as yours. Good Luck.
