The 13.67v is not necessarily a bad thing. If it is an older single stage charger, that's normal and doesn't hurt anything. You just have to check water level maybe every month until you know how long before you will actually need to add water.

With a 3 stage charger, the voltage is 14.3, 13.6 and 13.2 depending on state of charge. With the 13.2 maintaimg charge, less water is lost, so that extends the time to check and add water.

An option to your chassis battery issue is a Trik-L-Start. A snap to install and forget it. Anytime the coach batts are being charged, so is the chassis.

Me too....!
The original batteries in my coach, (2 12v chassis, 4 12V deep cycle house), lasted 11 years.
For 16+ years, my coach, (with a Freedom 20 inverter/3 stage charger), has ALWAYS been plugged in, (except when being driven or when dry camping/boondocking).
I am on currently 5 years into the the second set of batteries.

Ultra TRIK-L-START Starting Battery Charger/Maintainer
Thanks for the info. The Trik-L-Start looks like a good idea.

Where I live now I can't leave our coach plugged in, so I turn off the battery disconnects. I will charge it for a day before I leave on a trip. The last place I lived, I left it plugged in all the time, but I used a outdoor timer and it would charge for an hr a day. It seemed to work well and did not boil out the batteries.

My last 2 RV have had this parking spot and I have had them pluged in full time. I do check my batteries every month. My 2005 Rv only had one replacement and that was after 6 years, and then only to be on the safe side. Keep an eye on the battery fluid and you should be fine
