Again, first take a look at the floor above and see is you can't make an access hole above it and where the fuel lines enter. Then use a marine plate for future use.
If you have to drop the tank, try only the back end with leaving the front up somewhat. You may only need to see and replace some of the line.
Would this have a Carter electric pump, mounted on the passenger side, next to the tank, by any chance and can you see a split going to the genset?
Will the genset run, in fact?
