Polished rims
Not really a big deal but considering it was 2 days work, eat up a complete buff ball, ¾ of a container of polishing compound and I had to consume 47 beers....it makes me feel better to post pictures of the hard work.

Looks great!! I assume after 47 beers you couldn't find the others. That's probably why you have pics of the left front only
I'm big on keeping those rims looking good too.

I would have had the 48th beer but the darn guy next door came over and drank one! I’m sure the original owner of this MH never did anything but wash the outside. The inside is absolutely like new which was impressive when we looked at it. Older couple and I suspect buffing rims was maybe a bit too much for him. But them considering my sore hands today…might be for me as well.
Next trick is I’m 99.9 % sure this era of Discovery uses 99- 03 style F250 headlight assemblies. For some reason orange lenses on the front of any vehicle make me all twitchy. We have a pickup, Lincoln LS, MX5 and a Goldwing and every one I’ve changed to the Euro style clear lenses. If I can confirm they are F250 assemblies I’ll be putting aftermarket Euro style assemblies in it. It’s a disease.

I forgot to suggest something. After your hands loosen up again put a past wax on those rims (assuming they are aluminum) like you would a car finish. It makes cleaning them easier after washing the coach or when they get wet in the rain. Yes, I clean mine each time they get wet.
I know the disease you have. My wife names it, but can't post it here.

I take great pride in keeping my wheels clean and bright
i have been through the foam balls, the cotton ones and lots of mothers.
but its a job that makes you feel good inside,
my knees and back do not agree

Crap…should have warned me…would have put my sunglasses on first before looking! Worst on mine was the center portion of the rears because there was a ring of rust (makes no sense on aluminum) stuck to the surface just around the outer circumference of where the lug nuts sit. Put a very soft wire brush in a Dermel tool and carefully removed. The aluminum has slight tool ridges on the surface from when they were made and I suspect rust off the hub and lug nuts just accumulated in the grooves out there from centrifugal force of the spinning wheel. I suspect the wax and future regular polishing should stop that from returning. Once I had the rust off, I took very fine steel wool with rubbing compound and gave the complete wheel a good scuff up. It was pretty shiny even after that. Then the Mothers metal polish and buff ball. I’m sure my wheels had never had anything done to them since new so after a couple good buffing they should be perfect. 90% the way there now, but is some is good…more is better.

These rims could be a safety hazard for some drivers, better wear sunglasses...looking good.

they are first to get covered and last to get uncovered before a trip
they get a wipe down at days end and heaven help us if we hit rain, they will get a washing and drying
i need to put a coat of wax on for our next run.......
i also put the large acorn covers up front and they flicker in my side mirrors so i know where the tires are
