I'm in the market for a new RV cover and wondering if the woven polyester covers have any major advantages or disadvantages over the polypropylene/tyvek covers. We do get a fair amount of snow in these parts. My experience with the tyvek on our last motorhome was that it did the job well but left a bit to be desired as far as durability goes. I'd like to hear from users of the woven polyester type if it offers a similar degree of protection without any additional chafing tendencies and how they think that its durability compares.

Thanks,
Al

The woven polyester held up better for me in San Diego area. Sun rot is the biggest problem. Polypropylene will only last 1 year then falls apart the woven poly looks like it is going to make it 2 1/2.
