Poor lighting in toilet room 2012 Phaeton QDH

I have a 2007 Phaeton QDH. Does anyone have a solution to the poor lights in the toilet room? A friend who has the same coach tried to use LED lights, but because the lights face up to the ceiling their was little to no improvement.

There are many styles of light fixtures that could direct the light where you want it. Some are ceiling mounted, others wall mounted. Decide where you want to put a light and how you'll run the wiring. A 12v LED light could probably be piggy-backed on the wiring from the present light, or in lieu of the old fixture.

I just got through replacing ALL my interior bulbs with LED's and I have plenty of light. No I must admit, when I pulled my old wedge style OEM bulbs it took quite awhile before I could figure out what equivalent LED's would work with the same brightness. For the most part I matched them well but during my research I did discover that their are MANY varieties of LED's. So your friend maybe have just chosen a insufficient LED bulb. I don't think you need to go through all the hassle of replacing the fixture unless you just don't like it. Get big enough lumens for your LED's and you should be OK.

But like you said, if your fixtures face up, therefore reflecting light off the ceiling if I understand you right) then what I did may not work. Thought I 'd put my 2cents anyway for others.
