Poor man's remodel

We took out the J-lounge and the dinning table and chairs, and put in 2 swivel recliner's (Bradd-Hall), plus a portable drop-leaf table (Catskill Craftsmen). For an older coach with only two sides it really gave us a lot more room and flexibility. We love the recliners (also moveable), and the drop-leaf table can be moved to be a card table in front of the couch, a prep table close to the refrigerator, or a dinning table. And when not in use....out of the way. The seat belts from the J-lounge are still in the floor and are used to lock the table and chairs down when traveling. Works great!Click image for larger version

You did a nice job. It seems like you can never buy one the way you want it. Everyone wants different configurations so it's nice to make it the way you want it.

Looks mighty fine to me! I have a Brad & Hall chair like yours too. They are very good recliners, B&H has good stuff. Those recliners are they very ones that Newmar used for years. The table looks very handy/attractive as well.
You have a nice coach there.

Best regards,
W.D.

Power Inverter

I'm looking to replace the power inverter on my Class A motorhome. Has anyone done an analysis of the different models of pure sine wave power inverters? Has Consumers Reports or some other test agency evaluated and rated different models? There are so many models out there it's hard to know what to buy.

I'm thinking of getting a 2000 to 3000 watt pure sine wave inverter with battery charging and monitoring.

Thanks for your input.

Very nice!! We're wanting to do the same thing. Thanks for the info & pics.

What are the dimensions of the table - specifically how wide?
