Possible overheat on a Foretravel Detroit

My home usually runs 180 coming home from a trip last week and for no reason temperture went to 200 then 210 but gage was fluctuating so I am not sure if it could be false indication. I can't find the temperture sending unit on the engine can anyone help me with this. Thanks.

Is it a 6V92? Best post on Foreforums. Lots of DD experts over there.

Check the wire connection at the temperature sensor on your engine block. Sounds like it is loose of corroded.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

No knowledge of Foretravel so can't help with that! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
