Posts Duplicated on Good Sam Forum?

There are some posts on this forum that are the same as ones on the Good Sam forum. Are there two forums connected?

Probably not. That does not stop folks from posting the same thing on all the forums they can get to. Particularly true if they are either mad or desperate.

Many people will post in multiple sections of one or the other forums and in mutiple forums as well. Some compose in an ofline application like NOTEPAD then copy and paste in all of the assorted RV forums.. They seem to think they will get either a faster or better or Different response depending on the forum.

Fact is they are right.. I visit 3 different "Forum Groups) One is the RV-NET/Good Sams/Woodalls/C2C (Affinity group forums) One is this one and one (The first one I ever visited) Started on Compuserve and often has the best information.. Alas, Compuserve is no more and I have a policy of not advertising so I won't be naming that net. (I only mentioned the Affinity group net family because the O/P did).
Home is where I park it!

OK - thanks. It just looks strange to see the same post and often the same responses in 2 different places.

I've done it belonging to a few forums. This, in particular when I'm having a problem I need an answer for.

Many of the members of those forums do not belong to the same, so yes, in fact you get different responses and answers to your questions.

Nope, but the posters are most likely the same people. Some have different screen names and some alter the posts a bit so it doesn't look like the same poster. As noted above, some simply copy and paste the same post on several forums.

It doesn't matter to me how many forums one posts to; it does irritate me when they do not return to read the replies. I've PM'ed a few reminding them where they posted, and most seem grateful, but some never acknowledge replies.

No. iRV2 and Good Sam are not affiliated with each other.
