Power door lock conversion

Has anyone converted their Trimark Entry door lock to power by adding actuators and the e-ask fob system?

I am particularly interested in how it works. Their page says that a power actuator can be added to the lock but I am starting to think it is not on the lock body but somewhere in the door.

Does anyone have pictures?

I am fully aware of those all in one units but am not interested in that. I plan to convert the baggage doors as well. Pictures of those would be great.

Please refrain from opining on my project, I just want hard facts and pictures if you have them.

Thanks.

I did it on my Winnebago. I have a Trimark 030-900 handle.

I didn't use Trimark components, but the actuator installation should be similar.

Pictures are here

I bought a keyless entry off of eBay for like $20 with key bobs. I went through the lock Assy and dug out the foam core the servo fits nice in the door an attached it with 4 screws holding it in. Works great and have extra servos if one goes bad. Took a half a day to do this.

Just saw a all in one remote keyfob unit with code keys on amazon. Wow, looks easy to install. One small problem through. I usually open the door for the wife, what will she keep me around for if I give her a keyfob.

I really hate the lock arrangement on our Elantra, it only has a key lock on the drivers door, so I can't open the door for her. I given up on the dam keyfobs because seems like I always have a problem with them.

Either I have the wrong one, or I drop my keys and then step on the darn thing. When I sit down the darn thing gets pushed and the stupid trunk lid pops open or the horn starts honking.

The worst is when I'm in a public toilet, I keep the keyfob hanging out of my pocket so I don't push the button and I stand up and the darn thing drops into the water.

I keep all my keys on one ring, one for cars and one ring for moho. I have 8 vehicles. Can you imagine carrying 8 keyfobs around in my pockets? I'd make all you fellas out there jealous and get all the attention from the ladies

I am in the midst of doing a full install of the e-grab handle and e-ask system that I hope to complete this weekend.

The actuator is installed on a bracket that is mounted to the inside of the handle. You can fab it but I got it so cheap direct that it wasn't worth the effort. You will need to hollow out the door to slide in the actuator and then run a wire to the frame.

I am fabbing a system for all the compartment door locks as well. I have all the part numbers and pics. I will write up a full tutorial when done but here are a few pics:

Pushrod I had to fab:
