Power gear levelers with #500629 Automatic system touch pad

curiosity question. This weekend i was pulling out of my camp spot on the way home and had done my usual thorough walk around before leaving. As i left the pad and turned, my leveling panel went of like the fourth of July. ALL lites flashing and the buzzer beeping. I got to the end of the street put it in park and jumped out to look at the jacks, all good, up and stowed just like i checked before pulling out. Happened twice more on the trip home. Leveled when i got home after checking all jacks and fluid level. TIP sheet describes two faults like this
1. Emergency retract -- panel indicates this, low fluid (nope), improper wiring of the neutral safety switch,

2. Out of level tolerance --- previously programmed at a position that was not level (have had no issues with auto level before), control was not securely fastened in place when level was programmed ( no clue)

Any one experience this with the Power gear hydraulic system ??

I had Power Gear on my previous coach. The controller locked up and as I recall, it would not respond. I called Power Gear and they instructed me to disconnect the controller from the harness it is plugged in to behind the controller and it will reset the controller. It is a multi pin plug behind the controller. While mine was not intermittent like yours, this plug might be making an intermittent connection.
Good Luck,

David

I tried, for some reason the email link wasn't working. I'm going to top off the reservoir and do a few turns. FW said the float is pretty sensitive and it may look full to me but a top off should fix the issue. it only happened on large left turns. LOW reservoir level is one of the troubleshooting tips from the power gear tip sheet.

THANKS TO ALL

I had same thing and it turned out to be low fluid. If its happening in a turn, it is definitely low fluid level.

Yeah, low fluid. Sometimes it only needs a thimble full. If the weather is cool, the alarm will not repeat after driving for awhile or when temperature rises a few degrees.
