Power Gear Part needed

I am trying to locate a part for my slide out. It is a Power Gear slideout motor P/N 523725. Any suggestions on where to buy this? Any reasonable parts dealers? Would love any ideas!

The electric motor won't be unique to Power Gear or even to slide-outs, but I don't know what to substitute for yours. A NAPA auto parts store might be able to identify it and order one, probably a lot cheaper than Power Gear.

There is one on eBay, but before paying that much for the motor, I would give Northwest RV Supply a call in Eugene OR to see if they have one in stock.

Power gear is hard to deal with and want to charge an arm and a leg for thier parts.
Try Vison auto mart 606-843-9889 for a used one. That is what I did when mine broke it was about half price.

Thank YOU!

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I had been on e-bay and of course I wanted to find a CHEAPER part. Thank you for all your suggestions! I will try the places you listed.
I will try to let you know what I end up with.

I now need this same motor - 523725. Can you tell me if you ever found a good source? I tried NAPA but no help.

Thank you. I have not tried Camping World yet but I did get a price of $350 from Try Vision RV. A previous post gave me this clue. However, they have not called me back to tell me if they have the motor. Maybe today.

Thank you.

Smile fabrication

Is your motor bad or is the gear "box" broken? Ours would not move the slide in or out and was making a ratcheting noise. Upon removal, the gear box was cracked and broken internally. My husband "fabricated" a part and repaired the gear box internally. It has been working fine since. We did not have to buy any parts thankfully!
Let us all know what you end up with!

Thank you. As per the previous posts the motor/gearbox work fine as long as I connect a battery directly to the motor. I am tried everything else. The slide can be moved in and out with a pair of pliers on the square shaft, so the motor should certainly be able to handle it. The motor is expensive but I am going to have to try it. I am very frustrated with this problem. But thank you for your input.
