Power Gear Slide Out replacement

I need to find a Power Gear Assembly Motor # 524276 with a Base Motor # 130-1146. This goes to a bedroom slide out in a 2006 Fleetwood Discovery. The motor I have works but the gear housing is broken. Can I put a new housing on the motor?

When one of the gears in our Powergear gearcase for our bedroom slide broke a couple teeth, I contacted powergear... they only offered to sell an entire motor/gearcase assembly for a crazy high price. I looked around and found a guy that had bought out the inventory of many RV dealerships that went under and he had a huge assortment of motors and parts. His price was less than very reasonable. I went to his shop and picked out what I needed. This was about 4-5 yrs ago -- just looked and they are still on the web, so you might want to call... his name is Armondo at RV Collision and restoration in Clermont FL. (352) 242-3900

I had a motor failure ~3 years ago and had to buy a new one, the electrical motor would not work. I ordered mine through Veurinks, got it next day but it cost me ~$900.

You might check with Visione Auto Mart, they carry a stock of used motors, you may get lucky but it will cost you.

When I did some more checking Power Gear does not sell parts, I was trying to repair my old motor. I took it apart, could not find any real problems so I put it all back together and tested and it worked fine, don't know what was wrong with it but I now have a spare motor for my front slide.
