If the actuator is inside the bed frame and fails to work, how do you raise the bed in order to repair it?

valid point for sure but there,s two so hope they don't both fail at same time otherwise iam onto plan C
what I think I will do is make a access hole from each side of the bed by the floor
where I can remove a clip and knock out the pins and manually lift up the bed?

thanks for the reply Alan.The controls are just a rocker switch and two relays so I will mount the 2 relays and the rocker switch in one corner of the bed bottom near the top

that is a great question!!
I installed 2 120# gas lifts to raise my full queen (60x80) memory foam mattress with 1/2" plywood support base.
Works perfect, wife raises it with one hand and she is itty bitty. Don't go any less than 2 100# gas lifts, it's not about actual weight it's the leverage angle that requires the extra lift rate.

I don't think the engine would be in a slide-out.

Our new King Aire is hinged about 1/3 out from the wall. Works much better than the one that was in our Cornerstone trying to lift the entire bed and hanging on the window treatments.
