Power Steering Filter

Just heard back from Alan at Brazel’s. Couldn’t locate any info on the replacement so there going to make up their own set of instructions and get them to me. I’ll post them here in case anyone is interested. Great customer service at Brazel’s!!

I am a little concerned with removing a hose to drain fluid, so I think I may pump out the tank and refill and then repeat a few times to get more new fluid into the system. I don't have any leaks right now and want to keep it that way.

marjoa I don't think Ford has a filter. The OP's coach is built on a Workhorse W24 chassis.

Thanks for posting, that is very helpful. I have a Miti-vac fluid transfer kit so I plan to suck out the fluid. I may do this several times to hopefully freshen all the fluid in the system.

Did mine this morning. Used a turkey baster to suck the fluid out. Took about 2/3 of a gallon to refill. After spending $90 on a filter from Brazel’s I was given this number as a replacement: FRAM P8044
Less than $20 on line. Oh well next time.
