Pre-buy checklist for a Class A Gas coach?

Anyone have a pre-buy checklist for a Class A Gas coach? I am interested in making sure I dont miss any nuances of a 2004 Pace Arrow 37C workhorse 8.1 engine I am hiring a mechanic to do a pre-buy but I am overly cautious. Thanks in advance.

This forum and the open sharing of information by RV owners that goes on never ceases to amaze me. Much appreciated. I am anxious to be able to contribute and pay back now that I am buying my first coach.

Look here in the New Rig Show-Off Forum on iRV2. There's a PDI for motorhomes sticky'd near the top of that Forum.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Fantastic checklist - much appreciated. How much rust on the underside is acceptable? A 2004 Class A that I am close to buying seems to have quite a bit of surface rust on shocks, transmission case, frame, and tranny lines. Everything topside looks clean but 25k miles and seemingly lots of rust underneath compared to other coaches on the lot.

Be careful with rust, there have been a few flooded RVs on the market.

All undercarriages rust. some more then others. I would expect to see a fair amount on a vehicle with 25k on the clock.. Especially if it is from the north and driven during the winter (salted roads) or from a coastal community.

I would not want to see ANY flaking rust or pitted parts light surface ok.
