Judy,

Like everyone else said get additional quotes. Also I hate to say this but sometimes service shops will take advantage of a woman and quote you higher prices and or additional unnecessary services, my wife has had this happen. Let your fingers do the walking and call some other shops and see if they can give you ballpark estimates for the various parts of your job.

Ihave called another business and am waiting on their reply. Maybe it will be better, possibly worse.

Check with a Goodyear Wingfoot shop, some of them do that sort of work.

I see from your profile you live in FL. Give Josam Truck Frame & Alignment(Orlando) a call for an estimate. I've had some extensive brake and front end work done there and highly recommend them. Even if you do not want to use their services, you will get a fair and accurate estimate from the service manager.

Well, thanks for info. If I'm ever that way, I'll keep him in mind. For now, the Golden Goose is roosting in the Midwest waiting for me to ok the fix.

Sounds high. Get three estimates to be sure. Go from there.

Judy, I'd still give them a call...just to keep others honest and it costs nothing. I really trust these guys... Good luck.
