Pro to put in new flooring or carpet

I am having a hard time finding someone who does this sort of thing. Any ideas of how and where one finds someone who would be good at this. I only have a 33' without slides. Pretty much a straight shot down the coach with exception of hump between front seats where engine is and bathroom raised area where toilet sits.

Bob, go into the local lumber yard, ask at the counter for a few reliable carpenters phone numbers....it's an easy job for a qualified carpenter...Not the carpet, but any type of wood or composite flooring...

I just finished installing new carpet and vinyl flooring in my coach.the carpet and vinyl was basically to do.the doghouse was another story.after two attempts I give in the fact that this part was over my pay grade.

I returned to the carpet store where I purchased the carpet.I asked the owner who would he recommend to fix the "hump"he gave me several names and finally told me if I drop the cover off he would do it himself.

Problem solved

For the carpet maybe try an auto upholstery place.

In an RV, do you use tack strips for carpet, or glue down?

Bob, I was a flooring sales and installation guy for 30 years. Most flooring shops will have installers that will do installs in MH.
Most will want an Hourly rate as traditional yardage charges don't work because of the amount. However it takes a little more time.
On a 36 foot MH with tearout and install figure about 3 to 4 hundred. Should be about the same for laminate flooring.
Good luck.
