4. The difference in weight between the coach's GCWR and the coach's actual weight when ready to tow.
I agree with 1 and 2 and 4.

I was told or read someplace that on an incomplete vehicle the coach manufacturer rating took precedence over the chassis rating.

ty you can go to a cummins engine center and have them run a check on your motor by serial #. that way they can tell you what they can do to get some extra hp. if all they have to do is turn up the pump thats pretty easy. not cheap but easy. there are other things that can help but a program isnt one of them. anyway this may be cheaper than new motorhome upgrade. the new 6.7 can get to 330 hp.

Ripped it off when the Banks Power Pack was installed by Banks and sold on eBay to someone else.

Do your due diligence on this product before spending the money. YMMV

Each situation may be different.

There are instructions to follow when installing this product. IF the dial is at 100% not all MH's like that setting. I run mine at 50% and it makes a big difference with low end torque.

Trust me I tried a lot of dial settings. The initial one that was recommended for my engine was 75%. Then it was turned down to 50% then 25% and finally ZERO.

Long gone!

Banks Power Pack as long as it keeps working is one of the best that I have used on a Cummins diesel engine.

Yep, by Federal law the only one that can set the vehicle weight ratings is the completed vehicle manufacturer. They are also the only one that can change it later.

Which won't help if the transmission won't take the increase, which is the case with the OP's rig.

Thank you to everyone responding. You have provided a lot of information to consider. I guess I will have to start by contacting Freightliner and Allison?
