The term EMS can be confusing. Your picture is of the power management system in your RV. It dies not pro use for power protection. You are highly recommended to add the full power protection of a Progressive Industries EMS unit.

Progressive surge and voltage protection.
Concur. The Electrical Management System in your coach provides no surge protection or protection from low or high voltage or miss-wired pedestals. Get a Progressive.

I agree on the Progressive EMS. The HW50C is a hard wired unit with a remote display that you can mount where it's easily visible. The display you have is a load shedding management system that will shut off power to various systems if the load exceeds supply. Just for info, when you are on 50amp shore power there is no amperage load displayed. When you are on 30amp, the display will show the total amperage draw.
