Progressive vs Camco

I just purchased the PI EMS PT30-X surge protector. Looking at my existing 30 Amp cable I noticed that the male plug was a bit weathered. I decided to replace that also. I purchased the Progressive Industries TT-30P Replacement 30 Amp Male Plug. My question is why the huge price difference (double) between the PI plug and the Camco plug. I decided on the PI plug so that the door on the surge protector would properly close. Other than being made in the US why is there such a price difference. Does anyone hav experience with either one of there plugs?

Thanks
Pete

The PI plug is built much better than the Camco (which is not built as well as it was a few years ago)

Quality is hard to detect with the naked eye! I suspect you got your money's worth!
