Prohitches.com AKA Roadmaster-tow-bars, inc

I should have checked their background online before ordering a tow bar cover from Roadmaster-tow-bars, AKA Prohitches.com. I ordered a tow bar cover on 6-17-14. My credit card was charged on 6-20-14. On 6-24-14 I called to see if the item was shipped as I did not receive notification and left a message to call me. On 6-25-14 a lady called and said the item was backordered (why did they charge my credit card?). I told her to cancel the order. She said she would and would credit my charge card. Its been two days, and I understand it could take a few days to get the credit, as of 6-27-14 there is no credit. I'll give them a couple of more days to credit the account before I contact the card company.

I later found the same item on sale at Camping World and ordered it, which I should have done in the beginning. I was fooled by the name Roadmaster-tow-bars. This is NOT the same as the factory, this company is a dealer and is really Prohitches.com. There are several complaints on this company that can be found by googling prohitches.com reviews.

I too got caught up in their name game. I ordered tow bar, guardian shield and stow away. Very poor communication from them and half was back ordered! But I finally did get my entire order, at a good price (I think) and free shopping. Not the most comfortable company to deal with but very polite.
