I need to find out where winnie tied in. It has a curbside outlet in a nice hatch, but its regulated. Was wondering if I could relocate the tap to the upstream side of the regulator.

Would it hurt to be regulated twice?

I guess I actually need to try it, but I would have to get the right fittings. I did try the Weber grille, and it really cuts down on the flame. Swapped back and forth between a small cylinder and supply hose, and the hose was about 1/2 flame height.

You need to get a product called an Extend a stay. The instruction are easy to follow and solves you regulator problem.

My Coleman Roadtrip and the fire pit did not like double regulating.

It would be easy for most diy folks.

I make things harder than they should be for my own entertainment purposes.

Be sure to soap bubble test the new connections for leaks when done.

Do Not use a flame to check for leaks.......!

Could someone give me specific directions on what to buy and how to put a longer hose on this is exact unit.(https://www.lowes.com/pd/Garden-Trea...e-Pit/50037272) I can't even get the old hose off. It seems to tight, I don't want to break anything. Its the same one deandec has.
Thanks

I have extend-a-stay, 3 12 ft high pressure hose and camco pn 59213 ( 1# bottle adaptor). Use only regulator on fire pit or stove. Have used the entire 36 foot a few times. Usually only need 1 hose. But DW sometimes has other ideas.

Left hand thread? That's what they usually use on propane tanks and some lines. Does the fitting have cuts through the points? That's how they denote a left hand thread.

YES! First regulator cuts the pressure from approx. 300 psi to just less than 1/2 psi (11 inches of water) and the second shouldn't let much, if any gas pass.
