Propane refill
I am currently at Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station, California. I am searching for either a mobile or stationary propane refilling station. I have used google in my efforts to locate someone but basically all I can get are the small propane tanks exchange types. Thanks for your help.

This looks good, found it on RV.net through a Bing search "There is a Union 76 Station at the corner of Seal Beach Blvd and Bradbury Rd that can do it. Address is 12005 Seal beach Blvd. Abouta mile north of the 405on SBB"
Delivery, not sure if they have a minimum order though http://www.southlandpropane.net
The ones listed below all indicate on their websites that they fill RVs
11 miles away in Stanton, their web site says they fill RVs http://www.stantonpropane.com
U-Haul in Long Beach, 6 miles away http://www.uhaul.com/Locations/Propa...A-90806/713062
I use Bing (quit using Google when they took a semi anti gun stance), searched using this phrase:
rv propane filling service, seal beach, ca
If all else fails, I am staying here and they have propane
Anaheim RV Village Home
333 West Ball Road, Anaheim, CA 92805
714-991-0100
The propane fill is just past the office on the left
Less than 20 miles from Seal Beach.
Hope this helps.

Propane Refill
Thanks SDENNISLEE for the info.
I am a retired US Marine, Vietnam vet, and retired police officer as well. I would like to get together about AK. I've been to Anchorage once, returning from Vietnam, and was only at the airport for a few hours for refueling. I've wanted to return, this time by our RV, and really tour the state a little. I've done some research to travel by ferry and by land route. The ferry seems to be cost prohibitive - $5,000.00+ and somewhat unsure as to what to expect by land, i.e. lodging sites, fueling, etc.
I'm at site #16 at Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station. My email is: daniel68509@hotmail.com. Cell # 252-955-8190.

I used to work at NWSSB and I can almost guarantee that they will not let a propane contractor come on base, especially to service a civilian.
The 76 station on the corner of Seal Beach Blvd and Westminster used to have a fill station.

Response to propane refill
Thanks sdennislee for your info. Checked them out and decided to use the U-Haul location (they were much cheaper than the others, by .30 cents or more per gallon). Prices ranged from $3.19 (U-Haul) to over $4.00 per gallon plus tax.

I'll email you my trip cost sheet from last trip down, not as bad you might think. BY land is so much cheaper than the ferry.
