Propane tank sender unit

Found my propane tank sender unit hanging by the wires last week, so i ordered a new one and installed it but its not registering the correct level its the clip on type. it there supposed to be something in between the sender and the tank?

nevermind found out it was the wrong part number.

You have to go to edit and click on the delete post button, but you can't edit a post that is over an hour old.
