Can't USE it yet, so I spent the weekend messing around with it!
Got the beast greased, wasn't as bad as I thought. Except someone stuck the zerks for the rear brake actuator pivots about an inch from the rear axle tube, and pointed them AT the rear axle tube. Need to replace those zerks with some 90°ers. (about $15 cheaper than what they want for a 90° tip for the grease gun!) I notice all the filters on this thing are tucked way up where the frame rails will just be in the way, so I'm working on fabricating my own oil and other-filter remover...
Picked up some Dicor sealant and freshened up some of the roof seams. Never ceases to amaze me that NO ONE who builds motorhomes seems to care about how crappy they seal their roofs (at least visually) But, it means MY seal job don't look so bad.
Here's what UNhappiness is (at least to a lazy old fart like me): Trying to make brown tires and dinjy aluminum wheels look good:
But HAPPINESS is after the work is done!
She's lookin' pretty good! Too bad it's gonna snow again...
Oh well, it's March!
