 We tow a 2009 Nissan Sentra on a toe dolly, with our V-10 and has no problems.

I can remember back in the days of pop-up campers and whatever you were driving at the time would pull it just fine It seemed like there was virtually no maintenance. You put it in the back yard and never touched it until you were ready to use it and it was ready to go. Since we started taking the Hilton with us it seems like there is always something to replace, clean, repair or check.

Not at all!!! I see nothing in any of your posts that has anything to do with the OPs question. I believe you will find that all posts that were relevent to the OPs question were clear and concise.
We are not talking circumstance or rules in this thread we are discussing the ability of an engine to pull its load. If you have something to add to the discussion it will be accepted and respected. I do believe we deserve the same, dont you????

After a lot of research, including you kind folks who shared your thoughts, knowledge, and experiences, we have decided to purchase a 2012 Tiffin Allegro Open Road 35QBA. Your posts will also help in our consideration of what to purchase to tow. We look forward to our new experiences ahead with our Class A.

No Problem
Just got back from the Sierras with my V10 pulling a Saturn wagon. We live at sea level and went into and back out of Yosemite. Highest over 6000 feet. Some of the steep grades were at about 35-40 mph, but no problems at all.

Charlie,
Congrat's on your new rig! We also have an Allegro 35QBA (2011). It's a great product and Tiffin stands behind their MH's. We purchased the rig several months ago and have been taking care of minor issues, furnishing the rig, weighing it and the toad and getting it ready for a trip to the Smokies next week. After reading many of the posts on this forum we choose a 2011 Jeep Wrangler for a tow vehicle with a Blue Ox tow bar and base plate with SMI Stay and Play braking. It's a great setup. We'll see how it takes the hills but don't anticipate any issues. Enjoy your Allegro.

Charlie,
Just went to Tiffins site and saw pics, what a gorgeous coach!
I loved the booth seating and midship big screen TV. It looks like it has 3 TV's total and bunk beds for the kids?

Thank you! The bunk beds are in a smart location. Yes, there are 3 TV's and the exterior is prepped for a 4th one.
