When considering a diesel there are some things that a gas MH doesn't have and that includes air brakes and exhaust brake. I made these a must have when I selected my DP. The rear engine in all diesels except FRED is a big plus and the rear engine seems to help the handling a lot. Diesels used to have a much heavier duty suspension than the gassers but in recent years the gassers have caught up there. I would never be without a DP.
