Quick Advice Please

Leaving on 3 week trip in the morning. We have a 2013 Winneabago Adventurer Model H. The main slide when retracted sticks our in the aft end about an inch. We are on a slope so don't if that is an issue. Will it be ok to drive and could it correct the problem after driving and on level ground. These things always happen on Sunday when everything is closed. Thanks for any advise if your familiar with this issue.

If you are on a slope now I would pull the side in and when on level ground run it all the way out and back in. That should correct the slide sticking out. If it still protrudes on one end and no more amount than you stated I would drive on where I needed to go and have it checked later. That new of a unit should have some tech advice from the manufacturer. I would call them along the way.

HMMM...

A couple questions first...

1. Are you currently on your levelers?
2. If so, how level is the coach?

It sounds like have brought the slides in and discovered this issue.

I would get a second opinion but if your slides are in and you are NOT level, then re-level first and then try it again. If you are in a situation where you can't get the coach level and squared away, I would be very careful but perhaps if you can find a level spot within a few hundred feet you can reposition and try it again.

My biggest concern is that your frame is torqued/twisted a tad. It would also be my biggest hope that is the only problem and that getting it on level ground will solve your issue. If that isn't the case, I hope others with more experience can help.
