Boy, no kidding.
I built a set of solid blocks, 11"x11"x11". They just fit under the jacks BEFORE I let the air out of the bags. Then, I hit the dump button but, the coach does not lower. It's already on the blocks. Now, I raise the coach so that all six are off the ground, just barely. I have jack stands in place but, not touching the frame. If anything should fail, that frame would drop about 1/4" inch and hit the stands.
Now, I can do a lot under there, inspect brakes, turn wheels so I can inspect drums-all the way around them, change oil comfortably without being squished, lube the entire chassis, and anything else. Heck, I even put my 7 gallon catch basin for the oil, on a Polyurethane Harbor Freight furniture dolly so that, when it's done draining, I simply ROLL that 19 quarts of oil, right out from under the coach, without dragging it.
Besides, even if I do spill any, the floor is epoxied so, nothing sticks to it.
It's nice to have that kind of height to work under.
