Re-Stripe

I'm considering removing the stripes on my Bounder and having a local graphics company do something new. They do wraps of cars, trucks, boats etc and have a good reputation for quality. Has anyone gone this route and not replaced the factory stickers with the same thing? What kind of cost am I looking at?

Most people go with painted stripes. The are cheaper and last much longer.

Painting stripes is cheaper than vinyl? Hmmm, who'd a thunk. Thanks.

On my previous Bounder (93) I had the stripes proffessionally removed which is costly (about $1,100 because there are so many of them) and had a few new ones painted on. That cost about $1,000 but after 5 years my son says they still look good on the old 93.

I had my 1992 Fleetwood Flair re striped by these folks and I can't speak highly enough about them. They removed the old stripes and designed modern looking new ones that hid the faded marks from the old stripes. They have pictures on their web site of jobs they have done to give you an idea of their work. The will even make up a graphic design for you to look at to see if you like it.
Mine came out so good that when we sold it two years later, the first people to look at it bought it.
Jeff is the guy I spoke with. Their web site is below, good luck.
