Ready to Make the Jump

Wife and I have decided to purchase a MH so we can spend time with both sons (one in the north and one in south). We will be living in it fulltime as we have already sold our house. We plan on spending about 4 months in each location and then some other travel the remaining months. We have basically narrowed our choices to the Winnebago Vista 35F and the Winnebago Sightseer 36v.

Would appreciate any advice or recommendations concerning these two MHs (especially from current owner or past owners). We plan to purchase within a month.

Thanks!
Ron

Don't do it, Don't do it. You will never go back, you will never return to any place either. You will find yourself on the road or in some camp ground making new friends and going places that you have never been. You will end up seeing America and basking in it's beauty and all of things and places that you read about as a kid. History will come alive and so will you. Don't do it.

Well welcome to the site and I hope you learn a lot from us before and after you make your purchase.

Now as far as the 35F, I have a new one 2014 model and really like it. But as far as full timing it I would go to different model that has a washer/dryer and of course 1 1/2 bath. Its just me, the wife and the Pugh but the Washer /Dryer would be real nice for long, long trips.
Whatever you decide on, before you decide. take a good look at what the unit looks like with all the slides in, in travel position. Check for things like, access to the Fridge and the bathroom. Also check for access from the entrance to the drivers\passengers seat. You would be amazed at the lack of egress to them on some models (33C) with the slides in.
Enjoy the hunt and again Welcome to our world.
