Agreed. And I am honest.

I had vinyl wrap and other such stuff on my first 2 rigs. They were both Fleetwood products beneath the Bounder in quality. However they served wonderfully and I had no problems with the wood and have no regrets. I got what I paid for and have no complaints.

My advice is to find out all of your preferences in all aspects of your prospective RV. Finding one that can fit all requirements is tough, and compromise is often an important factor in the decision.

Thank you. It's posts like yours that makes me happy I just bought a Beaver. Hoping the quality is the same. It sure feels like it. Much more solid feel then a lot of the newer ones I looked at.

My 92 American Eagle has solid wood. 22 year old hardwood floor in the kitchen dining that is still like new. Also the leather upholstery is still good.

Lots of great info, some good debate and obviously plenty of great coaches with beautiful hardwood cabinetry to choose from. And one of the best parts of RV ownership, if you don't like something tear it out, customize it or sell it and get something else... Or just sit back, chill and enjoy what you have.

Just our experience. We just went through the new or used, gas or DP, etc. We decided that the best way (for us at least) was to shop for a upper level model no matter what the brand. It seemed that the quality used on everything in the coach was longer lasting and better quality.

As for which brands, just go through as many as you can and take notes; otherwise, you will forget important details.
