Rear Folding Ladder Hinge

Does anyone know where I can get the hinge that lets the ladder fold up out of the way of the engine compartment door. It is on a 2004 Beaver Marquis. I could not find a brand name for it. The mechanic just pulled on it instead of lifting up. Any body have any ideas. My friend with the Beaver does not have Internet access.

You mean like this one?

- 206197 RV Ladder Hinge - Price: $13.95 - Factory RV Surplus - 1611 W Bristol St, Elkhart, IN 46514 (800) 325-1461 (574) 262-3327

I had an unfortunate incident the other day and ended up ordering some parts to take care of it. These guys are on top of their game. Parts were shipped the following day and were here the next.

That looks just like it. Thank you so much. I knew someone on this site would have the answer. I will order them today.

I broke one of these hinges while folding out the ladder - yes forced it too much !!

Just e-mailed Newmar for the replacement part and they said it will be $94.15 a pair plus shipping and handling !!!!!

I looked at the link provided above and it is $13.95 for one - MUCH BETTER !!

BUT will it work on my ladder ? Here are some pics. What do you think ?

I'm guessing you have 1" tubing, most of them are. There's a note in that add for the hinges explaining how their 7/8" hinges can be used by inserting 7/8" tubing (sleeve) inside the tubing you have.

You can use with 1" tubing
by buying 4 #TBR0350
Ladder Tubing Coupler's.

If that doesn't make any sense, give them a call. I'm sure they can explain it to you. As mentioned they're great to work with. Don't mind taking the time to talk to you at all. -Al

Yes, Measured the tubing today. It is 1 inch. I'll look at that website again to find the coupler you mentioned. And will call them if necessary on Monday.

Yes, I did repair my ladder using parts I received from Factory RV Surplus.

I needed the "TBR0350 Ladder Tubing Coupler"

- TBR0350 Ladder Tubing Coupler - Price: $3.00 - Factory RV Surplus - 1611 W Bristol St, Elkhart, IN 46514 (800) 325-1461 (574) 262-3327

and the "Stow Away Die Cast Hinge" Part # 206197 - but I can't find this part on their website anymore so perhaps you could call them.
