rear slideout

have a 2001 HR ambassador. rear slide will go out but will not retract. any ideas?

It depends on the system. I had a similiar issue with one of my HWH slides and the problem was the electric valve that actuated the slide. If it is HWH, call them and they will talk you through the diagnosis. The valve was very simple to replace, just remove the wire attached, unscrew and replace the valve on the pump manifold.

first need to know if you have HWH or another hydraulic system or motor driven system

Slide is electric. Need to know if it works off reverse polarity.
