I have installed a Tadi rear view camera in my 2004 Damon Challenger and have continuous problems. Tadi has been very cooperative and have supplied a new camera which I installed and is now not working but showing a "parking" pattern, a bunch of lines on the screen but no picture. I contacted Tadi and was informed by someone (a tech maybe?) that it was possibly due to a power surge in the voltage. The unit is hooked directly into the ignition. They suggested a different power supply, tail light. The wiring I have is too short to reach the tail light and is so fine that I haven't found any. I can reach a clearance light at the rear. Would that give me a proper power supply to run the unit?
If anyone has suggestions please keep it very simple, I am soooo stupid when it comes to anything electrical. I live quite a distance from a knowledgable business that might possibly help me. Can't find anyone around where I live.
Thanks
Bryan
