Rear view camera question

I got a new back up camera for a Father's Day gift.
Does anyone know how to remove the old camera? There is a very small gap around it and I can see the mounting bolts but there is no way to get a tool of any kind through the gap. It looks like the cover might be just be glued in place.

I have a camera like that one.

Ours is accessed from inside the bedroom by removing some panels.

I finally started this project. The cover was held in place with caulk/adhesive. I cut through it with a knife and the cover came off easily and the camera mounting bolts were accessible then.

Apparently, the caulk was the mounting method for a few years as I found the same thing on my 2000 HR Endeavor.
